For a very long time, I have been searching the perfect winter coat. As with everything else, I know I should be investing in a nice, classic piece. However, since I am young and fairly poor, I usually go for the cheap item.
Recently while researching bridesmaid dresses online, I came across some beautiful winter coats on
J.Crew.com. They make wonderful coats, but they are usually way out of my price range. Lucky for me, sale prices are a little lower this year due to the recession. I made the decision to buy myself a coat. The hardest part was deciding which one. There were a few really great ones to choose from. But I finally decided (it was probably the word "cashmere" in the discription) on the
Carrie Coat.
I love this coat! I don't even care that is was marked down even more just a few days after I bought it. It is incredibly comfortable, cute, practical, and oh-so-freaking-soft.

The mustard tights make me feel like a dinosaur, or a duck. But I went shopping with my friend Lisa, who thinks I wear too many dark colors.
The coat also has a nice tie at the neck for when it gets windy and I am without a scarf.

I love it. I do not love my funny lips in the photo above. Stupid flash.
